Steve’s VW T5 SWB clean look interior

Steve from Plymouth came to us after contacting many different van conversion companies trying to get his interior carpeted to his specific requirements. He explained to us that he wanted a “clean look interior” and not to have any screws/screw caps visible once the roof or door panels were fixed in place. He explained that he got frustrated as he could not find a company that would fit his van interior out exactly the way that he wanted it. Luckily he came across us! After a friendly chat with him explaining what he wanted from us and what we could do to the interior of his van, the van was left with us for the day to carry out the work. Some hours later he came back to collect his van and was extremely happy with what we had done! The van interior was exactly how he wanted it with a nice smooth, clean looking interior!Click on the image for more pictures

Windsurfer Gavin’s VW T5 Watersports Conversion

Keen watersports enthusiast Gavin came to us with his 2010 VW T5 SWB. Gavin is often at the beach as he likes to windsurf, surf and kitesurf and he wanted somewhere to store all of his equipment and have a small area to get changed in and an area to put a matress down to sleep on when camping at the beach. We insulated and soundproofed and carpeted his whole van, layed a heavy duty waterproof Altro vinyl floor before assembling a metal frame (which was made to the specification of our customer) into the van which we then boarded and carpeted. The result is a van with storage space for watersports equipment with plenty of sleeping space on top and a very happy customer. This conversion was custom made (as all of our conversions are) these frames are made from a steel frame so they are strong and lightweight. They can be galvanised and painted or primed and painted to prevent rust and look good! They can be made to fit in any van and to a customers specific specification. Contact us to discuss your requirements!Click on the image for more pictures

Andy’s VW T4 SWB

Andy from Devon came to us with his lovely looking immaculate VW T4 which he uses for transporting his cycles to racing events. Although the outside looked stunning, the interior wasn’t quite as nice, well not until we finished with it anyway! So we got to work and insulated the roof, sides and doors before carpeting the sides, metalwork and doors in Graphite colour Veltrim carpet. The dull grey ceiling panels were then felt lined in light grey and the floor was then covered in metal chequer plate vinyl to finish the look off.Now Andy can turn up at Cycle racing events in with a van that is stylish on the inside as well as on the outside!Click on the image for more pictures

David’s Green VW T4 SWB

Surfer David from Newquay came to us with this unique looking green T4 SWB. He required replacement ply lining and new carpet, (if you look at the first few photos you can see why!) so we got to work first stripping of the carpet which was hanging off from the sides and then taking the old ply lining panels off. We then insulated the sides before replacing the old drab ply lining panels and then covering them with black carpet to make the van tidier inside.Click on the image for more pictures

Dean’s VW T5 SWB

Dean from Truro came to us with his completely bare VW T5 which was in need of insulating and ply-lining. So we insulated the sides and doors with 2 layers of thermal double sides bubble foil insulation before completely ply lining the sides, doors and floor and then making some reinforced heavy duty wheel boxes.Click on the image for more pictures

Guy and Rachel’s VW T5 SWB Caravelle

Little bit of a surfer special this one! Guy and Rachel wanted the rear of their van to be transformed into a cosy area for transporting their surfboards and getting changed in after those epic summer surf sessions! So first we had to strip out the old original hardboard panels before insulating and soundproofing the sides, doors and roof. The metal work was next to be carpeted with the ply lining panels being carpeted separately so that they can be removed if required. Once the sides and doors were complete the roof had to be ply lined and be reinforced and made strong enough so that two surfboards could be stored hanging from the roof. The panels were first lined in a lightweight grey felt to improve the look and 4 marine grade chrome eyelets were attached so that Guy and Rachel could add a system that allowed them to hang their surfboards from the roof giving them more space in the rear.Click on the image for more pictures
